Microsoft and their Xbox One can’t seem to escape harsh responses from fans no matter what they do. The most recent point of contention seems to be the exclusion of a headset in the Xbox One bundle. The supposed company from hell also swapped the original mic port for a “high speed, no latency” replacement, forcing the many people that have spent hundreds of dollars on a decent rig to double dip.
These announcements have really stirred up some consumer backlash and Microsoft has responded with the following, “Xbox plans to develop solutions in the near future to allow consumers to connect many brands of wired gaming headsets to the Wireless Controller for gaming and chat audio.”
It is certainly not a definite answer, but many outlets including our own believe this is another revision from the company to try to get gamers back on their side.
